Game On! Sports Camp 4 Girls is looking for high school and college athletes, coaches and teachers who share our passion for sports, fitness, kids and fun to join our staff team. Specific job descriptions follow:
Camp Director, Game On! Sports Camp 4 Girls, Ty Warner Park, Westmont, Illinois
Game On! Sports Camp 4 girls, the only private summer day camp dedicated to creating an exceptional sports camp experience for girls in the Chicago Area, is looking for a Camp Director for our Western Suburban location. Game On!’s mission is to work with girls grades K through 8th to develop or enhance their appreciation and appetite for sports & fitness. At Game On! tennis, volleyball, basketball, softball, lacrosse, soccer, swimming, flag football, ultimate frisbee, Sky games and Bandits games are a way of life. In essence, our Camp Director is the personality, spirit, and face of camp. Camp will run for six weeks starting June 16 and ending on Friday July 25. Candidates should also expect to contribute to marketing the camp, training, and programming throughout the year. Responsibilities include
- Day to day operation of the camp
- Managing and motivating the camp staff
- Organizing and executing the daily camp schedule
- Internal and external communications
- Providing for a safe and fun camp experience

Assistant Camp Director, Game On! Sports Camp 4 Girls, Ty Warner Park, Westmont, Illinois

Game On!’s mission is to work with girls grades K through 8th to develop or enhance their appreciation and appetite for sports & fitness. At Game On! tennis, volleyball, basketball, softball, lacrosse, soccer, swimming, flag football, ultimate frisbee, Sky games and Bandits games are a way of life. In essence, our Assistant Camp Director is the helps to define the personality, spirit, and face of camp. Camp will run for six weeks starting June 16 and ending on Friday July 25. The Assistant Camp Director will report directly to the Camp Director and responsibilities can include
- Helping with the day to day operation of the camp
- Managing and motivating the camp staff
- Organizing and executing the daily camp schedule
- Internal and external communications
- Providing for a safe and fun camp experience
- Taking ownership and running various programs as designated by the Camp Director
- Spreadsheet development and management (data tracking)

STATION HEAD: North Suburban and West Suburban Camps
Game On! Sports Camp 4 Girls, the only private summer day camp dedicated to creating an exceptional sports camp experience for girls in the Chicago Northern and Western suburbs, is looking for sports Station Heads in Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Softball, Lacrosse, and Tennis. A Station Head will create and execute a program designed to help girls, grades K through 8th, to learn the fundamentals and grow as an athlete in the specific sport. With a focus on fun and the joy of sport, the Station Head will supervise counselors as their campers rotate through the sport, also making an effort to provide hands-on help with the campers. You will also be expected to accompany the campers on field trips and help with other camp responsibilities. Note that there is a good chance you will be required to serve as a substitute bus counselor. The camps are located at Lake Forest College, Lake Forest, Illinois and Ty Warner Park, Westmont, Illinois and will run from June 16 through August 8 and June 16 through July 25, 2008, respectively. (Three to five days prior to June 16 may be necessary for staff orientation.)

COUNSELOR: North Suburban and West Suburban Camps
Game On! Sports Camp 4 Girls, the only private summer day camp dedicated to creating an exceptional sports camp experience for girls in the Chicago Northern and Western suburbs, is looking for counselors. With a focus on the joy of sport through fun, counselors will supervise a group of 8 to 12 girls as they rotate through various sports stations and other fun activities, attend field trips, and fulfill other assigned responsibilities time permitting. Note that you will be required to ride a bus for which you will earn extra pay. The camps are located at Lake Forest College, Lake Forest, Illinois and Ty Warner Park, Westmont, Illinois and run from June 16 through August 8 and June 16 through July 25, 2008 respectively. (Three to five days prior to June 16 may be necessary for staff orientation.

COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR: North Suburban and West Suburban Camps
Communications/photo Director to manage video, photography, daily communications and newsletter responsibilities. Must have solid writing skills and experience with digital photography. Ability to upload daily photos to website is a plus.
GROUNDSKEEPER: North Suburban and West Suburban Camps
Involves the day-to-day upkeep and maintenance of the campgrounds (including both indoor and outdoor spaces as well as equipment) for the entire camp season. May include off site campgrounds as well.
SETUP/CLEAN UP CREW: North Suburban and West Suburban Camps
Opportunity for hired staff to be involved in extra (paid) duty as it pertains to the daily setup and clean-up of fields and courts and clean-up at the completion of the 8 weeks.
UTILITY POSITION: North Suburban and West Suburban Camps
Flexible full-time staff position to assume responsibilities as needed. Responsibilities will vary and may include bus duty, fieldtrip supervision, substitute counselor, lunchroom duty, maintenance of campgrounds and more.
